Hi Guys. I probably had the same problem on my 912-S down here in Brazil. I was flying , than it started to shake so much and some smoke in the cockpit. I turned it off and thank God I did a safe landing on a corn field (without corns, so no damage even a scratch). Only 250 hours, since january 2013. Maintenance done correctly in authorized Rotax Repair Center . By the pics, could be the same problem? Im asking becouse its gonna take a while for the authorized Rotax start the job and some opinios are welcome . Forgive my bad English and Tks so much !!!

Yes Kevin. You are right. Both parts damaged .After opened the bçokcs, it had 3/4 of oil (becouse some oil went out aftes the "blew" - new oil) The question is: WHY ??? That should be impossible becouse maintenance was done correctly by the book. So this is what my Rotax repair center is trying to figure out. Am I in the right topic or should I be in other one ?

I think this qualifies for the blew up post, just a different area of the engine from the original post.
I am very curious what your tear down inspection will find for a cause.
Any recent work done before this happened ?
