Do you trust your instruments or risk engine damage?

Instruments. Your body isn't connected to the engine. Plus you should know that they are operating properly just by observing them constantly during every flight. If one reading really is bad then it usually affects another reading. So cross referencing helps.

My 912uls showed high oil pressure about a year ago. I replaced the oil pressure sender and it was normal for about 50 hours then went high again. I replaced the oil pressure sender again and it was normal for about 10 hours. Called the EIS Tech and he said maybe wiring. I replaced the Lug on the wire that went to the oil sensor, (It was 6 years old), The oil pressure is back to normal and even lower than is showed before.
