Bought my Tecnam P2008 from dealer with 44 hours total time. At approx. 80 hours I started noticing small black specks, that appear to be carbon, within the exhausast residue on the fuselage and landing gear leg. I burn mogas exclusively, there is no noticable oil usage, I have used both Shell Sport 4 and recently full synthetic. The floats were Bing and changed to Rotax recently and there is no appreciable change in the quantity of black specs. Any reason for this and does anyone have the same experience?
