Hi,
My mechanic is doing the Circlip SB and noticed that the clip is 3 notches down on the left, but only 2 notches down on the right. Is that normal? I'm pretty sure this is how it came from the factory.
Thanks!

The Rotax maintenence manual says that the needle position should be:
carb supplying cyl# 1/3 should be pos 1 or 2
carb supplying cyl# 2/4 should be pos 2
with position 1 being the top position on the needle. Download the manual and take a look and see if it matches what you have. There is a really good diagram.

I have the 914 maintenance manual, but I cannot find what you're referring to. I searched on everything I can think of, but nothing.
Can you tell me what section it's in?

It is figure 73-15/1 in the heavy maintenance manual. I've attached the diagram.
