Yes, I am also frightened by this installation of the diesel filter which is on ... The diesel return pipe!!

But since he's stubborn as a mule...It does not accept any modification

I told him to plan his will before a probable in-flight fire

Why on earth would anyone have a filter on the return line????

let's be clear, the throttle control is fine, but for the rest...?

Putting a filter on the return is...Totally useless and the transparent tube is dangerous, but beware, I am not the mechanic of the plane, and the mechanic that the owner of this device has chosen will never be mine ?

    Hi guys

I’ts a false good idea initiated because you think it’s difficult to synchronise the carburettors, the problem is that the carb’s are fixed to the engine with rubber flanges, it’s not possible to get a perfect rigidity between them and at the end you will destroy limits brackets of the butterfly’s axels and may be the axels themself for a poor results in running… The best solution : train yourself to synchronise if well done it still available during 100h…

Carb sync should be very easy once you understand what the gauges are telling you. A sync usually takes me 10-15 minutes. This is why I cover this in detail in class and I have everyone up at the engine and demonstrating a real time carb sync so they can actually see how it real works.
