Roger I understood, especially since you are a reference for me on this forum.
This post goes back a little further for me, I own an Evektor EV97 (Sportstar in the US) and I was not comfortable with the throttle control in the center of the dash, so I moved it to the Left , pilot side .
BUT the co-pilot no longer has the throttle available and this command allowed me to give him throttle control while keeping my engine control to the left.
If I asked for a possible experiment on the bar system, it is because I thought that with the vibrations of the carburettors, it might not work well.
Now I know a little more.?
As for the synchro of the carburettors, I designed the servo that operates the cable sheath for me because I no longer want to be next to the propeller to do the synchro, and it works so well, in being in the cockpit that I wouldn't do without it, and neither would the people at my club.
Know that the synchronization of the carburettors is not a problem for me, however I am open to all improvements on my plane!
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR RESPONSES ,?
I see that there is no one to talk about their good or bad experience with the control bar system.
Finally, be all tolerant with my English language, but you can always claim with Google translate, but if you want, I speak French perfectly!

Has anyone thought of using a larger crossover tube to balance out the slight differences in carbs at the higher RPM's? Obviously not an alternative for a good balance. http://waltsrv12.com/engine/1-inch-balance-tube/

I use the conventional dual throttle cables and carb sync procedure with gauges, and have found it so simple and easy that I have no desire for something "easier". Also, I have found that after 100 hours or so on a new throttle system/engine and a carefully tweaked synchronization, it basically never moves. I can go 300+ hours and need no readjustment (I do check it every 100 hours). If it does need a tweak after 300+ the adjustment is very small-usually less than 1/2 turn of the adjusting screw on one side only.

I have found plane's with two throttle pull out style knobs work okay. but the carbs will never fully sync when use them. There is just a tiny bit of play between them. Single pull know styles work better for keeping a good carb sync.

(Lost my post again!)
Siamese throttle cables are far from ideal. They will do the job, so so , for a while. They are far from an elegant solution.
The idea of a throttle rod, to engine bay transverse tube, that has cable fittings on each end, directly in line with the carburettor actuating mechanism, operating short Bowden (or double acting) cables to the carburettor mechanism, makes perfect sense and is a vast improvement on what most Rotax 9 pilots are putting up with today.
So yes you can improve on the wheel.
