The voltage starts to go back up until the engine quits. Fuel pressure remains constant at 3 bar. I'll hook up a dongle next week.

My IS had a small 11 AH battery which as it became older the volts would drop down to 8-9 volts on start. Replaced with a 16 AH Lithium now all fine on startup.
Engines need spark and fuel, what is the fuel pressure doing just before the stoppage
You could also borrow a dongle and look for error logs to see why it is stopping ?
Specifically which 16 AH battery?

Tecnam, in conjunction with Rotax, is suggesting a larger battery with more CCA (cold cranking amps) - the Odyssey PC625. I plan to fly down to Aircraft Spruce and pick one up on Saturday. I'll report my results here.

Installed the Odyssey PC625 yesterday. It did not solve the problem. Good thing Aircraft Spruce accepted the return. Back to the drawing board. Still open to suggestions...
