Need to find 912iS Fuel Filter

Now that we may have found an alternative supplier (Bosch) of the filter, the question is;

## If the aircraft is a factory build (not home/experimental) is it legal, in your part of the World, to fit a fuel filter from a non original (Rotax) supplier.???😎

And if you go back to my original post, I said that I really, really wanted to pay the much higher price because I so enjoy paying more for things than they are worth.

I don’t have an ELSA.  Should, but I don’t.

For my aircraft the manufacturer does not address the fine filter in the maintenance manual, you are referred to the Rotax 912iS manuals. The latest version of 912iS installation manual specifies the filter attributes, but not a specific brand. I would think using the Bosch filter would be a defensible choice.
