Now I am really confused. I found the vent lines(tubes) and see them on the Rotax part manual for my 912. But what is that tube that seem to come out of the bottom of the carb. These are hidden by the gas catch.

What you may be seeing is the stock 4" tube that gets tucked under the carb bowl bale. The only other hose that could come off the bottom of he carb is a primer tube. This would be setup in place of the choke (enricher) cable.

Thanks, so I should tuck the outlet of the tube so that it drops into the catch bowl?

Why don't I see this in the parts manual?

That's just one way. Rotax doesn't need it in any special configuration. It just needs to be done. It isn't in the book because there is more than one way to accomplish this task. If you bought the standard Rotax air box it is hooked up to the air box.

    Hi,

The line I was talking about goes under the drip pan and is yellow.

It is attached under the carb.

    Any ideas
