I want to know how to fill in "Return to service" table that attached at the end of the Rotax 912 MM check sheet.
Would you give me the best practice for writing below rts form.

Return to service
At the identified engine (as per point 5), on (Date) Jan. 26, 2015 the 200 hr.
Check at 205.6 hr. (TSN_XX_, TSO______) was carried out according to recommendations of the engine manufacturer and was recorded in the Engine Log book.

Location, Date: John's Aircraft Maint, Denver, CO (KDEN) 1-26-2015
Inspector____________________
Aircraft mechanic: John McBride
Certificate No.: 3356789_ issued 3-2008

Thanks for your concern.

    Hi HS,

    Hope this helps,

The first line opening is just the date of the inspection, the second is which inspection you are preforming (100, 200, 600 hr.), the third is what is the actual hours on the engine, the next one TSN (Time Since New) just gets a check mark or if it is (Time Since Overhaul). I'm sure most use the first TSN box. The bottom couple of boxes should be self explanatory. Where is this taking place and by whom and then list their certificate number.

I filled in your blanks just as an example. The location part might be stated in a different way.

    Just a quick note,
For those that may not know this paragraph is on the last page of the Line Miant. Check List. I use this every inspection, sign each item off and make notes in the margins as I go. Then hole punch it and give it to the customer to keep and I do the same with the fuselage check list. Everyone should use this and make sure their mechanic uses it. Keeping good records will help with any regulatory problems that may crop up, civil issues and keep the resale value of your plane much higher than if you fail to keep well documented records.
