EngiBox from AvMap - review / thoughts

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has installed / used the EngiBox engine monitoring from AvMaps and if so, your thoughts on it.

I am thinking about it for an aircraft I am about to purchase with very limited engine monitoring. (Only oil temp / pressure and water temp)

Hi Scott,
I´ve one installed in my FM250.

I´ve had a lot of trouble at first because of the senders and sensors that I was trying to use.

The Engibox works only with the AVMAP EGT sensors and for the oil pressure its better to use the Keller type.

When correctly installed is a very good EMS made for ROTAX engines and records the operation of the engine that you con send to your mechanic if you have any issue.

The only thing is, Don´t try to install with sensors not certified by AVMAP evn if they are TSO. I sufered a lot beause of that.
