CHT Sensor leaking coolant

I just received a replacement CHT sensor to replace a defective one. I install the new replacement and it is working, but it is leaking coolant. I put the old one back in and the leak stopped. It does not look like either of the sensors had gaskets and I don't see anything on the treads.
