Thank you for the input. I dialed the prop back for some short field stuff now but I am learning it's limits at different pitch settings. Our trip to OSH took 7 hours so I was wondering where the limit was for a long cross country.

Can the prop direction of a 912 ULS be inadvertently reversed by reducing power in a decent? If so, what would it do to the engine or gearbox?

The prop is a Sensenich 3 blade. Kitfox does not put them anymore for some reason.

It does not matter if the Engine is turning the Prop, or the Prop is turning the Engine; As long as the airflow is coming in the Front of the Prop and going out the Back, the engine still turns in the same correct direction.
