Picture post

How do I post a JPEG, PDF or Word Doc?
I would like to post a bolt torque chart. I don't see a way to do it any longer other than on another URL.

    Do Not use the Quick Reply Box.

    Click the Action button and select Reply.

    This will bring up the Full Editor with all the Edit/Attach Features.

    Still doesn't allow pictures or files unless they are in a URL. I tried that.

    Exactly what are you trying?

    The Image Link (4th from Right) in the Menu only allows URL Links.
    The Attachments Button in the Bottom Left Corner of the Editor Box allows Attaching internal files directly.

    Once you start typing, the Attachments Button often disappears behind the Editor Box and only a small sliver of the button can be seen peeking out from the bottom edge of the Editor Box.

    Clicking the Attachments Button before you start typing, opens the Attachment Menu before the button goes into hiding.
    If you are careful you can still click on the sliver of the button sticking out from under the editor.

    Alternately, if you click the Preview Tab, the Attachments Button moves on top of the Editor Box and can be accessed easily.

    I think this is a Bug in the Editor as the Attachments Button should remain on top all the time.

    Thanks Bill for the help. I appreciate it. I found you have to go into preview mode up above where it says message to the the attachment section. I'll give it another try.

    That's certainly worth a Karma and a Thank You..;) :lol:
