Enrichment solenoid would not affect fuel pressure.

Two thoughts:
1) It might have been a failure after the installation.
2) There's not much knowledge out there about these engines. The requirement to pressurize the carb float bowl is unusual in aviation, as most everyone with a turbo has fuel injection. The 914 seems to be the standout in this regard, and as such the help we get on these engines is frequently well-intended but mistaken.

Not to nag, but I really wouldn't push the engine if you are having dropping fuel pressure. You can absolutely damage it very quickly in a high-power, hot, lean condition, and that's precisely what you will have if the carbs are starved of fuel.
If you can run it 30", and then step up to 31" for 5 seconds, then 32" for 5 seconds, and then 33" for 5 seconds, that will give you a clear indication in your data if the fuel pressure is dropping perfectly inline with the turbo boost. If it is doing that, then you absolutely have a fuel pressure regulation problem.

It just occurred to me that you should be sure that your fuel screens are clear. Even a partial blocked screen can cause a problem that can affect getting full pressure to the system. in the old pumps there was a finger screen on the inlet of each pump, if you have that type remove and clean.. otherwise if you have not already done so perhaps replace your filter prior to the pump inlets.

I'll be doing the ramp to full power fairly slowly and will be watching all the parameters. This test is necessary because the TCO only records the last 30 minutes of operation (which were fine). Dean at Lockwood recommended doing this test and recording.
I checked the gascolator filter and it was clear. I'll recheck the per-tank filters, though those would be hard to clog because they're fairly large.
