Do you know if it's documented how to test that?

Sorry, no. Maybe someone will chime in. Might try searching this forum.

Hi Craig,
Any recent maintenance done on the engine? I might sound like a broken record responding to low power on takeoff issues with a 914 but it may be worth checking the induction system for leaks that may be causing the TCU to automatically reduce MAP in order to control airbox temperature. Do you have a airbox temp gauge installed?
As an aside, your manifold pressure should be measuring the pressure after the carburettors, in the balance tube between the inlet manifolds, not the airbox pressure.
Cheers, Des.

Hi Des,
Unfortunately, the guy who finished the engine installation (a deep regret) didn't put the manifold pressure measurement in the right place, it's on the airbox and also didn't use a differential fuel pressure gauge. I do need to fix those things.
One thing that has happened recently was the shroud around the turbo air filter became loose and a small percentage of the filter is visible, so some air into the filter is coming from inside the cowling, not the NACA duct. I didn't think this was a huge issue, so I've held off fixing it until I had the bottom cowling off. Maybe that's the cause?
Thanks!,
Craig

Not sure about the airbox temp gauge. I'll take a look this Sunday.
