914 Turbo Fuel Pump

Well ....

The failed secondary pump is definitely stuck fast and no amount of "taps" will free it up.

However, the new boxed pump became operative after a couple of gentle taps and seems to work now each time I apply power. 

My plan is to fit the new old stock pump in place of the one originally fitted and try in for a couple of seconds from time to time as this is the "boost" pump on the Europa and the backup fuel pump. It is a top quality german pump, so I think it is probably OK.

I tried the Des technique and the "new" boxed pump now works perfectly, whereas the one already fitted to the aircraft, is definitely "stuck fast".
