Hi RW,
I remember when the bulletin went out on switching 7mm to 8mm, but I can't believe an itty bitty 1mm would be drastic enough to worry about especially to just test it so see if it makes a difference.

We already know it makes a difference. The wedging in that happens with the original clamps is about 1mm, which shortens the spacing by 1mm, and they are significantly more acceptable in tightness. That itty bitty 1mm is a big deal.
