I have replaced the Rotax dual ground plugs with old style NGK plugs and flew this afternoon. There is no change in EGTs.
I also looked at the cylinders with a borescope. 2 & 4 look perfect, 1 & 3 not so good. I've attempted to attach photos. Is it just a matter of moving the needle from 2 to 1? Photos are in order, cyl 1, then 2, then 3 then 4.

Hi James,
Are you sure the ignition modules A and B are wired correctly? Line A and B have different run timing for top and bottom plugs on the 914, that is something that could have changed when installed new, wouldn't hurt to check the correct module is going to the correct spark plugs.

But if the modules were reversed, wouldn't all cylinders be affected? 2 & 4 look perfect. Each coil fires two plugs, one on 1/3 side and one on 2/4 side and each coil fires either top plugs or bottom plugs.
Per suggestion from Rotax (LEAF) I'm going to lean the needle on the 1/3 carb and see how that works.
Thanks for your input!
