Then the oil comes from either the pipe or the engine.

Our 912 has more than 900 hours. The plane is a Tecnam P2002 Sierra. We noticed the oil in the manifold pressure gauge during the first 100 hours, since then the level of oil in the gauge didn't seem to increase until recently. We have decided to remove the gauge and try to let the oil drain out by gravity, which doesn't look to be very effective. Any suggestions?

Since we have noticed the "oil" level in the manifold pressure gauge increase when we have occasionally used AV-GAS instead of RON 95, we believe that this oil is formed by the condensed heavier fractions of AV-GAS, which are added to reduce its volatility and thus reduce the vapor lock problem.
