I'm in France and fitted the Loravia water/oil heat exchanger+thermostat to my 912S it's awkward to install because it is fairly large and the connections all seem to be in the wrong place for a Rotax.
There are no easy mounting lugs on it which makes installation even more difficult.
This installation means that both the oil and water temperature are dependant on one 20 dollar thermostat that was probably made in China and fails shut. If and when it fails you have a very small amount of oil and water in the circuit and it's going to overheat very fast.
I modified the the thermostat housing and fitted a fail safe thermostat and it works well but I wouldn't trust the thermostat supplied with the unit.

Also I fly an autogyro so I fly low and slow and can land in a very small space safely (been there, done that) if I have a temperature problem, I wouldn't put one in an aircraft that required a reasonable length runway.

There's a thread where we discussed this and different oil thermostats in detail a year or so ago.
