Hello Team Rotax,
My plane mfg. SCODA, recommends changing K&N air filters on the Rotax 912 ULS every 100 hours. As you may be aware these filters are sold as ‘cleanable'. I have spoken with my Rotax supplier here in Australia (Horsham Aviation Services) and they say the K&N air filters DO NOT need to be replaced but simply cleaned with their K&N cleaning kit. My filters are at 100 hours (TOTAL ENGINE HOURS 450). What say you?
