yeah it is elsa now. Again what is the 1470 normal temperature for then?
Like I said with 155 jet it could almost never get to 1400. I think rich it better but how do you know what's important in the manuals. I have fowled a couple plugs as well.
I got this from the new manual and looks like they increased the max since my old manual was published?
It sure looks like the company likes them running over 1400 to me? This might warrant someone from rotax to chime in?

"Normal" readings apply to engines with factory specs. Once you change those specs, who's to say what's normal anymore??

None of the egt numbers changed with the modification. .The manufacturer states to use the rotax manual . So you are saying to ignore what rotax the manual states?
So what part of the manual is important to your engine?

Fred, are you running with an airbox breathing fresh air, or the warm air under the cowling ?
