Ok I guys I appreciate the input . I tried one more thing today . In an effort to trouble shoot the left egt temperature running low I put on 2 new sensors. Warmed it up and took it up to 4500 rpm. The left side could barely get over 1100 and the right one was 1340. What do I try next?

Thanks for the help?

Have you used an infrared thermometer to measure the exhaust stack temperature to compare with the EGT reading? I'm having a hard time imagining a situation where an EGT that low would be a "real" reading, and not the result of either a faulty sensor (which I know you're replaced already), faulty wiring (check grounds!), or a faulty gauge.

Update. Sorry I did not update you sooner. I think my big difference in EGT temps is I found that the factory for some reason put 1 sensor on the front cylinder and one on the back. I went from a 55 jet to a 54 which brought the temps up to 1470 on the rear side and about 1300 on the front side. The front plug still run pretty black and the rears white.
