Jim,
This thread from 7 years ago seems to be regarding a similar problem. Bill Hertzel had some good ideas as did others. Unfortunately, there was no resolution posted but they must have solved it.

Here's an update to my situation:
Swapped out the ECU with a loaner from Lockwood. Same results. Solid Lane A.
Found a worn wire (in 2 spots) on the knock sensor. It was wedged between the top of the engine and the radiator tubing. I reconfigured the wire so that it was not in contact with the engine. Started right up. No Lane lights.
Full runup. Engine ran perfectly when you shut down Lane A. Engine was violently vibrating when we shut down Lane B.
The EGT on #3 immediately dropped and we shut the engine down. We pulled the spark plug on 3B and it was very black. We pulled 1B and noticed the same thing, just not as black.
Side note: the G3X is now X’ing out the engine instruments for a few seconds and then they would come back on. This recycling of the engine gauges continued the entire time on 2 separate runs. Never seen that before.
Our focus in now on 3B.

12/22/24 UPDATE:
It is frustrating that no one fully understands the fault code. It has us wondering "what's the point of spitting out a fault code if no one can interpret it?" I've posted the BUDS data here for all to see. Any help would be appreciated.
