I was considering to have my 500 hours (3d generation) crank overhauled by a sled or bike workshop , and was considering to upgrade using components from the best known among rotax series for reliability , 717/720 sled engine

    Hi someone ;)

    I'm about to assemble with crankshaft modified from 3d generation , but with 720 conrod kit
    that implies that top end bearing will change
    from 18x22x23 --> 18x24x24 , that's the closest I found
    (09263-18015 - RN 18x24x24 suzuki DT40 outbord .. I notice it is less powerfull per cylinder than 582)
    No cageless in this dimension , or I have to make one (I don't know the rules for this : number of rollers? space between..)
    What I found is some load values
    18x22x17 load 11.9 17.6 (dynamic / static )
    18x24x12 12.15 14.15
    18x24x20 20 26.5
    18x24x20 17.9 22.4 (other brand)
    which leaves me optimistic ...
