I think I will try to build a restrictor with Brass Rod like Bill mentioned, if I can find Brass rod that fits snug inside a AN hose fitting ( the flow would be pushing it in toward the AN hose fitting) I use aluminum AN blue hose fittings because I like how the Bing blue fuel line slips onto them etc.( I have no cowling and its a pusher) Do you guys see any problem with putting a brass restrictor in a aluminum fitting ??? I was told by a AME to avoid putting a steel NTP hex plug in a aluminum because of possible corrosion. I know things can happen with dissimilar metals, and I could just go with a brass fitting with a brass restrictor, but I like my blue AN hose fittings.

Bing main jets work well and easy to install.

I am a little bit puzzled.

What does RECOMMENDED in the SB ROTAX mean?

Secondly there are some issues with the new BCD fuel pump (is this type the only one?) or are they solved now (high fuel pressures etc.)?

Will RECOMMENDED become MANDATORY in the not too distant future?

    How then to proceed.

I hate to tinker with a perfectly running engine!

    Hi Roger,

You have stated that the new pump does require a fuel return line but I could not find this in the ROTAX SB or the Manuals.

May be I need a new pair of glasses :S

    Jan,

It's in the installation manual and gives the orifice size.
