On my one pic of the selector valves you will see teflon on the threads of one selector valve...I no longer use teflon on fuel fittings, that was done a long time ago.

    This may help

I have been having low fuel pressure alarms on climb outs especially for touch n goes in a new aircraft

I have exhausted everything thing rotax and the dealer said with no luck. Despite everyones advice to the contrary i decided to wrap the sender in Kart exhaust sealier heat wrap. And walla no more fuel alarms. Then today was hot and the problem slightly returned.

So two things . Read page 16 of the 2013 rotax fuel pump ad about how fuel pressure drops.
Secondly, know that heat definitely affects the reading of some senders, despite virtually everyone i spoke to saying its an impossibility. Everyone said heat can kill senders, but it cannot affect the reading.... I have categorically proved that wrong, by wrapping, then unwrapping the sender. When exposed to heat some do read wrong.

    Hi Matt,

Are your fuel lines in the engine compartment in fire sleeve?

I personally wrap my fuel sender in fire sleeve to help protect from engine temps and keep it off the engine with a remote mount. I have never had an issue. Most owners in my area do the same. I know Flight Design wraps all their fuel senders. Many owners now are starting to wrap their exhaust pipes to help cut down under the cowl radiated and convective heat. It does seem to help.
