    Hi
After fuel pump replacement on our certified 912S2 installed on Tecnam P2002-JF, the oil pressure goes below 1.8psi when switching off the electric fuel pump on climb check. After 10 seconds it goes slowly back up to 2.2psi.
    TKS for your help
    Cheers

    Hi Thierry,

I don't think you meant to say oil pressure? Your pressure fluctuation could very well be just the sender or a check valve seating off and allowing pressure to build?

Sorry Roger. I'v had fuel pressure in mind of course. This problem started after a SB concerning mechanical fuel pump replacement has been applied. As soon as I can I'll come back with details about this SB.
    Many thanks to you

    hi All flying friends,
I fly Eurostar SLW w/ Rotax 912 ULS
1 month ago, according with SB, I changed my fuel pump with the new BCD one...my problem now is quite different from all others in the forum: when I take off without electric pump on, or when I go around, or when I pull up in the mountains, I have a sudden drop in the fuel pressure down to 1.0 PSI... I suddenly switch on the electic pump,in about 20 secs I get the regular pressure of 3.5.
Already checked fuel filter, leakage at pump site and carbs..
    any idea?

It could be a bad sender or my bet is a poor earthing (ground) wire).

Go to altitude over a field and get it to drop and then go full throttle without the electric pump and see if the engine coughs or sputters. If you can put a mechanical gauge in line and check to see if the pressure indication is real. Any possibility of vaporization of the fuel in the lines from a heat source?
