Does anyone know how this story ends? My engine has exactly the same symptoms. Total time 1900 hours. With the three-wire connectors coming from the generator disconnected, they have an alternating voltage of approximately 42 V (generator A) and 33 V (generator B). After the regulator, both give out about 14 volts.
After starting the engine, generator B runs. When the RPM increases to about 2500, when a switch to generator A should occur, there is no changeover and both Lines A and B begin to flash. There is no battery charge.
If the black connector (Alternator A) is disconnected while the engine is running, the engine will continue to run. Disconnecting the gray connector stops the engine.
I don't understand where to look for the problem.

Problem solved by replacing all three relays in the fuse box.
